Rules & keyboard controls
Black squares stay empty. Crossing words share one letter. Tap a selected square again to change direction. Arrow keys move through the grid. Backspace clears a letter; Undo reverses an edit. There are no lives or penalties. The puzzle finishes when every letter is correct.

Crossword Rules
Write one letter in each white square. Black squares separate the answers. Each numbered clue describes a word running Across or Down the grid, and the letters at the crossings must agree. You may erase or replace letters without losing a life. The puzzle ends when every required square contains the correct letter. Hints are optional; puzzles completed with revealed letters are marked as assisted.
Crossword Tips for Beginners
Start with clear clues, short everyday words and familiar topics instead of going in strict number order.
When you find an answer, check its crossing words: a single new letter may reveal another clue.
If an answer does not fit, reconsider the clue rather than forcing a word into the grid.
Move to another part of the crossword when you're stuck, then return with more crossing letters.
Try a gentle hint before revealing a full word; you'll still do most of the solving yourself.
On paper, write lightly until the crossing answers confirm a tricky word.
