How to play

  1. Pick your picture

A 24-piece puzzle is ready when you arrive. Choose another image or piece count whenever you want.

  2. Find a match

Drag a piece from the tray onto the board, or select it and then tap or click its position. Match colors, textures and lines.

  3. Let it click

Drop into any position to try an arrangement. Drag a board piece to another position to move or swap it, or return it to the tray.

  4. Make the whole picture

Place every piece to finish. Preview, Edges Only and Hint are there whenever you need a little help.

Jigsaw puzzle rules

  • Each piece belongs in one correct position. All pieces already face the right way up; there is no rotation.
  • Pieces can be placed in any board position and remain movable until you finish. Moving onto another board piece swaps them; replacing one from the tray sends the old piece back to the tray.
  • There are no points, lives or penalties. Incorrect placements never remove a piece.
  • Preview shows the full picture. Edges Only filters the tray. Hint briefly highlights the position of your selected piece without placing it.
  • Complete the puzzle by putting every piece in its correct position. The progress bar counts correct positions only. There is no time limit.

A few pieces of advice

  • Start with the frame. Edges Only finds pieces with straight sides; corners have two.
  • Look for a distinctive detail, such as a fox’s face, a bright roof or a bridge, before tackling plain sky.
  • Follow lines across the picture. Branches, paths and roof edges help you recognize where a section belongs.
  • Compare texture as well as color: water, leaves and sky can share a color but have different patterns.
  • Check the preview to locate an object in the whole picture. Zoom in before placing small pieces.

Find your favorite piece count

24 pieces

A gentle starting point, with larger pieces for a quick break or a comfortable game on your phone.

48 pieces

A little more to discover. A balanced choice for a relaxed session with more details to compare.

100 pieces

Take the scenic route. Smaller picture sections make a longer challenge; Zoom and Move help on a small screen.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free, and do I need an account or download?

Yes, it is free. Play directly in your browser without registering or installing an app.

Can I save a puzzle and finish later?

Your current puzzle saves automatically when browser storage is available. Return in the same browser to continue. Starting another puzzle replaces this save after confirmation.

Can I continue on another device?

Saves stay in this browser on this device and do not sync automatically. Clearing site data or using private browsing may remove your progress. Switching the site language keeps the same puzzle.

How many pieces can I choose?

Every picture is available with 24, 48 or 100 pieces. All options are available immediately. Changing the count starts the picture again.

Can I rotate the pieces?

No. Pieces already face the correct direction, so you can focus on the picture and their positions.

Is there a time limit?

No. The timer records play time and never ends the puzzle. It pauses when you pause the game or the page is hidden.

What happens when I use a hint?

Select a piece, then choose Hint. Its correct position is highlighted briefly. You place the piece yourself, with no penalty.

Can I use my own photo?
