How to Play Rotate Rings
- Hold a colored ring and drag around its center. Its gap follows your finger or mouse.
- Guide the gap over a silver connecting pin. The pin pops open, releasing that connection.
- Free every connection to let a ring float away. Clear all the rings to unlock the next level.
Rules & ring mechanics
- Silver pins join two rings. Either ring can release the shared pin once it can rotate.
- A numbered lock means you must free the indicated ring first. A dashed line shows the dependency when selected.
- Amber stops limit rotation until their numbered ring is free. Slide the striped bar to unlock a ring; its number shows any prerequisite.
- Every ring has a gap. Guide it over each attached pin to release the connections.
A small twist of strategy
- Follow the locks before you spin. The most visible ring isn’t always the best first move.
- A ring with two clips needs both connections released. Look for a turn that opens more than one.
- Hints highlight a legal next step from your current board. Undo restores your previous move, including pins and sliders.
Try it: your first unlock
In Level 1, ring 1 (blue) and ring 2 (green) share a silver pin near the top. Drag the blue ring clockwise until its top gap reaches that pin. The connection opens and both rings float away. One turn, your first little victory.
