How to Play Word Fit
- Select a complete word from the bank. Tap a matching letter on the board to align the crossing, or tap an empty cell to position its first letter.
- Use Rotate (or R) before placing a word to switch between horizontal and vertical. Matching crossing letters align automatically; invalid positions stay unplaced.
- Tap to place immediately, or drag a word and release over a valid position. Use Undo to try again. Arrow keys move between cells; Enter or Space places the selected word.
- Fit every word, complete the dashed target slots and cover any flag. Cover +1 or +2 gifts to unlock the extra words you need.
Game Rules
Every new word must cross the existing network at an identical letter. Words run left to right or top to bottom; diagonal placements and overlapping words in the same direction are not allowed.
Leave an empty cell beside new letters and before and after each word, except at a proper crossing. Dark obstacle cells cannot be used. Marked slots must contain a whole word of the shown length.
You can also expand into open cells. Any arrangement that uses every word and meets the slots, gifts and flag conditions wins. There is no timer, life limit or penalty for Undo.
Accents appear in the word bank; the board uses uppercase letters without accents. Spanish Ñ remains a separate letter. Progress is saved separately for each language on this browser.
Tips for Fitting Words
Start with a marked slot and compare its length with the word bank. A rare shared letter can narrow down the choices.
Plan beyond your next crossing. A word close to the edge may fit now but block a longer word later. Gifts can reveal the word that reaches the flag.
Hints search your current layout. If a branch has no solution, Undo lets you retrace it. Stars depend only on hints: three for none, two for one or two, one for three or more.

Yes. Tap a word, then tap a cell to place it immediately. Zoom controls and a scrollable board keep the larger grids usable on small screens. Music and sound effects can be switched off separately.
