How to Play Word Bubble
Merge the group
Build a bigger bubble: 2/4, then 3/4. Add the fourth related word to reveal the category.
Pop and clear
Complete every group to clear the board, earn stars and unlock the next level.
Game Rules
- Find groups of four related words. Only words in the same target category can merge.
- Combine single words or partial groups. Bubble colors are decorative, not clues.
- Wrong matches leave your correct groups intact. You can always keep playing.
- From level 7, completing a group reveals four new words. Watch the board change!
- No timer, lives or paid hints. The first two levels forgive incorrect matches.
Tips & Strategy
- Start with clear categories, such as fruits, animals, colors or shapes.
- Look for the most specific connection. In Music Room, string instruments and percussion form separate groups.
- Hint first highlights a matching pair. Use it again to reveal a category name.
- Shuffle changes positions without changing words or completed merges.
- Earn 3 stars with no errors or hints; 2 stars with at most 2 errors and 1 hint; otherwise earn 1 star.

The bubbles bounce back without losing your correct groups. Errors affect stars from level 3 onward, but never end the game.
Does Word Bubble save my progress?
Yes, when browser storage is available. Your partial merges, current level, unlocked levels, sound preference and best stars are saved locally, separately for each language. Clearing browser data removes this progress.
Is this the same as WordBubbles?
This Word Bubble game groups whole words by meaning. It does not connect individual letters to spell hidden words.
