Wordle Unlimited Rules

Every valid five-letter word uses one of your six guesses. Incomplete words and words outside the dictionary do not use a turn.

Green ✓ means the letter is in the right place. Yellow ↔ means it belongs somewhere else. Gray − means there is no unmatched copy left in the answer.

Repeated letters are counted carefully. With APPLE as the answer and ALARM as the guess, the first A is green and the second A is gray. A gray duplicate does not rule out every copy of that letter.

Answers come from a shuffled collection of common words. You can play as many rounds as you like, and words cycle back after the collection is used. Progress and statistics are saved in this browser, separately for each language.

02 / Normal + Hard

Game Modes: Normal and Hard

Normal lets you try any accepted word. Hard requires green letters to stay in place, yellow letters to move, and every confirmed letter to be reused in the correct minimum quantity. A letter revealed by a hint must also stay in place. Choose your mode before typing your first letter or using a hint. The difficulty stays locked even if you delete the letters or refresh. Start a new game to change it.

Wordle Tips and Strategies

  1. Start with a familiar word containing several different consonants and two or more vowels, such as SLATE or CRANE.
  2. Move yellow letters to new positions. Keep track of how many copies of a letter are confirmed instead of simply crossing it out.
  3. Use the meaning hint when several words fit the board. Save the letter reveal for a position you have not already solved.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Wordle Unlimited free?

Yes. Play without an account, payment or a daily limit. There are six valid guesses per round.

Do hints use up guesses?

No. There is no three-hint cap. After meaning and structure clues, each tap reveals another unknown position. Once all positions are known, there is nothing new to reveal. Hints persist on refresh; assisted and unassisted wins are counted separately.

Does this page give today’s official Wordle answer?

No. These are independent, randomly selected puzzles. The helper below can filter your own clues, but it does not claim to know the official daily answer.

Can I play in Spanish or Portuguese?

Yes. Use the language menu for a native word collection and local clues. Spanish keeps Ñ distinct from N. Vowel accents are ignored during input; correct spelling is shown at the end. Portuguese also treats Ç as C.

What happens if I start a new game halfway through?

You will be asked to confirm. An abandoned active round counts as a loss and ends your streak; simply leaving or refreshing the page preserves it.
