How to Play 4 Suits
Check the suit symbol on every exposed card: spades and clubs are separate suits, as are hearts and diamonds. Place cards one rank lower to build columns, then connect matching-suit fragments into movable runs. Clear two King-to-Ace sequences in each of the four suits.
What changes with four suits?
The 104-card deck has 26 cards in each suit, with two copies of each rank per suit. The move rules remain the same, but spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs must each be organized into their own completed runs.

Moving a run: before and after
Suit matters—not just color
The exposed pair 9♠–8♣ cannot move together: both cards are black, but they have different suits. The exposed run 9♠–8♠–7♠ can move onto an exposed 10♦. Afterward, all four cards cannot move as one run because the 10 has a different suit.
Plan across all four suits
Before relocating a run, look for a landing place for the cards it will expose. A free column can hold a club fragment while you uncover a needed diamond beneath it. Avoid using that space for a King until you have considered the cards it may trap; a King can only move to another empty column.
Playing on your phone
Tap a face-up card to select it and any movable cards below it, then tap the destination column. You can also drag. Use Fullscreen for more room, and scroll beside the board to move down the page. Undo takes back a move; Hint suggests a move, not a guaranteed winning solution.
4 Suits: Advanced Questions
Must I alternate red and black cards?
No. Spider builds down by rank regardless of color. Moving a group requires the same suit, not alternating colors.
Why can’t two black suits move together?
Spades and clubs are different suits. A movable group must share the same suit as well as descend by one rank.
Can any card go in an empty column?
Yes. You may move a single card or a valid same-suit descending group into an empty column.
How can I use an empty column to sort four suits?
Treat it as temporary space for a same-suit fragment. Move that fragment aside, reconnect the newly exposed cards with their own suit, then find a higher-ranked landing card for the fragment. The column must be filled before a stock deal.
Is every four-suit deal winnable?
We do not guarantee that every shuffled deal can be won. Hints suggest available moves; they do not prove a complete winning solution.
How do I move cards on my phone?
Tap the first card of a movable run, then tap a valid destination column. Dragging also works. Only a consecutive descending run of the same suit can move as a group.
Can I continue later or switch language?
When browser storage is available, progress and records are saved separately for each difficulty on this browser. Switching language keeps the same mode’s save. Other devices and browsers do not share it; clearing site data removes it. Check the save message before leaving.
Is every Spider Solitaire deal solvable?
Deals are random and are not checked for solvability. A hint suggests a legal move, not a winning plan. Use Undo to explore alternatives, Restart to retry the same deal, or New Game for a different deal.
