How to Play 2 Suits
Start by looking for matching spade or heart pairs, such as 8♥ on 9♥. An 8♥ may also sit on 9♠, but that suit boundary prevents the pair from moving together. Join matching runs when you can, and clear four King-to-Ace runs of each suit to finish.
What changes with two suits?
The game uses 104 cards: 52 spades and 52 hearts, with four copies of each rank in each suit. The move rules stay the same as in other Spider modes; you now have two suits to organize.

Moving a run: before and after
Moving mixed-suit cards
A card may go on a card one rank higher, regardless of suit. In an exposed run of 9♠–8♥–7♥, the bottom pair 8♥–7♥ can move together onto an exposed 9 in another column. All three cards cannot move as one run because their suits differ.
Planning your next move
Before placing hearts on spades, find a possible destination for the heart run. For example, after moving 8♥–7♥ onto 9♠ to reveal a hidden card, an exposed 9♥ lets you reunite the hearts later. Use a free column to separate a mixed stack; fill it again before drawing from the stock.
Playing on your phone
Tap a face-up card to select it and any movable cards below it, then tap the destination column. You can also drag. Use Fullscreen for more room, and scroll beside the board to move down the page. Undo takes back a move; Hint suggests a move, not a guaranteed winning solution.
2 Suits: Mixed-stack Questions
Why can’t I move this whole stack?
Every card in a movable group must be face up, descend by one rank and share the same suit. Move a smaller valid run when the whole stack does not qualify.
Why can’t I deal with an empty column?
In this version, every column must contain a card before you deal. Fill empty columns with a legal card or run first.
Should I always choose a matching suit?
A matching suit keeps a descending group movable, but revealing a face-down card may justify a mixed-suit move. Compare what each move uncovers and whether the mixed group can be separated later.
How do I untangle hearts sitting on spades?
Move the bottom heart run to a card one rank higher or to an empty column. This exposes the spade beneath it and lets you reconnect that card with another spade run.
How many heart sequences do I need?
There are 52 hearts and 52 spades. Clearing the board requires four complete heart sequences and four complete spade sequences, each from King to Ace.
How do I move cards on my phone?
Tap the first card of a movable run, then tap a valid destination column. Dragging also works. Only a consecutive descending run of the same suit can move as a group.
Can I continue later or switch language?
When browser storage is available, progress and records are saved separately for each difficulty on this browser. Switching language keeps the same mode’s save. Other devices and browsers do not share it; clearing site data removes it. Check the save message before leaving.
Is every Spider Solitaire deal solvable?
Deals are random and are not checked for solvability. A hint suggests a legal move, not a winning plan. Use Undo to explore alternatives, Restart to retry the same deal, or New Game for a different deal.
