    How to select words in Word Search

    Select both ends

    Check the allowed directions

    Easy uses right and down. Medium adds downward diagonals. Hard uses all eight directions, including backwards.

    Shared letters, separate words

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Why do some animal names never appear on Easy?

    Easy accepts 3–7 letters, so ELEPHANT and CHIMPANZEE are too long. Medium can include ELEPHANT; CHIMPANZEE fits Hard.

    Can CAT count inside a longer animal name?

    Only if CAT is on the target list and you select exactly C–A–T along a straight line. Selecting a longer name does not automatically mark the shorter target.
