    How to select words in Word Search

    Select both ends

    Check the allowed directions

    Easy uses right and down. Medium adds downward diagonals. Hard uses all eight directions, including backwards.

    Shared letters, separate words

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Does finding BALL complete FOOTBALL or BASKETBALL?

    No. Select the full word shown in the sporting lineup. BALL alone only counts when it is a separate target, even if the letters sit inside a longer sport name.

    Why do SOCCER and FOOTBALL both appear?

    The English bank includes both familiar sporting terms. Treat the exact spelling in the target list as the answer; the game does not ask you to identify a rule code.
